Şelale Öncel Mertadam was born in 1976 in Izmir. She completed her middle and high school education at Izmir Private Turkish College. After graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Business Administration, she did not take a role other than to be a good cost calculator and a planned business woman in her career life. She worked in a company owned by her family and took a radical decision to change her career by moving in Istanbul.
She started working at Vakko immediately after her training at Lasalle Academy. For many years, Vakko's sense of quality, brand value judgments and CRM customer satisfaction have been the structures of her business life.
She then continued to work with Big Blue and Collezione corporate brands and established the She-La brand in 2011. She prepared various project costumes, editorials and consultancy for TV series and various media organizations under the name of this brand She-La. She has been writing editorials for fashion and travel magazines since 2005.
